Job Details
  • Job Title: Enterprise Data Architect
  • Department: IT
  • Location: hybrid (minimum one day per week at our Aldgate, London head office)
  • Hours of work: 37.5 hours (Monday to Friday), with some out of hours cover and occasional weekends
  • Contract: permanent, full-time
  • Salary: £52,000 per annum
  • Closing date: Monday 2nd June at 11.59pm
  • Annual leave: 33 days (plus eight bank holidays)

About Dementia UK

Every three minutes, someone in the UK develops dementia, a complex condition affecting individuals and their families. Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity supporting families through Admiral Nurses who provide free advice, support, and understanding.

Role Purpose

This is a new role as an Enterprise Data Architect, crucial in shaping how Dementia UK manages, governs, and uses data to support its strategic goals. You will design, develop, and manage the data architecture, implementing robust data management practices to maximize data value and ensure quality insights.

The role involves applying data analysis, design, and modelling techniques to establish and maintain data structures, informed by standards from BCS, SFIA, and industry best practices.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent, with extensive experience in data modelling, database design, and integration. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and proficiency with data management tools are essential.
