Job summary

Global Law Firm is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to own the data architecture strategy, lead Azure lakehouse design, and embed governance across the business. The role includes line management of two Data Architects and collaboration with Data, AI, Engineering and Architecture teams in a hybrid London-based setting.

The ideal candidate has extensive enterprise data experience, strong Azure expertise, and a track record in data governance and AI data platforms.

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise data architecture experience in large organisations.
• Previous leadership or line-management experience.
• Strong Azure data platform expertise, incl. Azure Databricks.
• Experience designing lakehouse and enterprise data architectures.
• Strong data governance, metadata, MDM and modelling.
• Experience supporting AI/ML initiatives and AI data platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and cross-discipline collaboration.

The Role

An exciting opportunity to join a global organisation undergoing a significant transformation across Data, AI and enterprise architecture.

You'll take ownership of the enterprise data architecture strategy, leading the design of a modern Azure-based data platform while shaping how data products, governance and AI capabilities are embedded across the business.

This is a leadership role with line management responsibility for two Data Architects, working closely with Architecture, Engineering, Data and AI teams to deliver a scalable, governed data ecosystem.

• Experience supporting AI/ML initiatives and modern AI data platforms

• Experience working within enterprise architecture frameworks and collaborating across multiple architecture disciplines
