Job summary

NHS Blood and Transplant is seeking an Architecture Analyst to support strategic technology planning. You will own and develop architecture information systems and tooling, enabling governance and informed decision-making across the organisation.

You will work with stakeholders to improve data, reporting and visualisations and contribute to the continuous improvement of architecture services and standards. This is a role for someone who enjoys solving problems, data work and influencing others.

Qualifications

  • Educated to Master’s degree level in IT/related specialist subject or equivalent professional experience.
  • Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Responsibilities

  • Own, administer and develop the organisation’s Enterprise Architecture information systems and tooling.
  • Ensure the architecture repository operates as a trusted, organisation-wide technology system underpinning governance, strategic decision-making and technology risk management.
  • Produce governance reports and visualisations for architecture governance.
  • Maintain a high-quality, accurate and current view of the technology landscape through design, configuration and improvement of architecture systems, data structures and reporting frameworks.
  • Operate with professional autonomy as the organisation’s specialist authority for architecture information systems and governance.

Education

Master’s degree in IT/related specialist subject or equivalent professional experience
Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
