Job summary

Caspian One is recruiting an experienced Enterprise Architect for a strategic transformation with the GCIO Chief Controls Office in Sheffield. You will define future-state architecture for technology risk, controls, compliance and assurance, and drive standardisation across a fragmented landscape.

You will lead architecture definition, stakeholder management and the adoption of control-by-design principles, collaborating with Cyber, CTO, Business Technology and Infrastructure functions to

Qualifications

• Proven experience defining enterprise target-state architectures.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across CIO, CTO, CISO, Engineering and Risk functions.
• Strong governance, risk, compliance or cyber security domain understanding.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience simplifying fragmented technology estates and driving standardisation at scale.
• Knowledge of APIs, data architecture and automation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Define the target-state enterprise architecture for technology risk, controls and assurance capabilities.
• Assess the current technology landscape across tooling, data, workflow and evidence management.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and consolidate capabilities.
• Develop roadmaps and transition architectures to support transformation objectives.
• Establish architecture principles, standards and reusable gold standards.
• Enable control-by-design by embedding controls into engineering processes.
• Drive automation, control execution and evidence collection improvements.
• Translate policy and governance requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Present options and risks to senior governance forums.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align objectives and implementation plans.
• Support adoption of architecture standards across multiple technology functions.
• Provide architectural leadership across strategic programmes.
