Job summary

Sword Group is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architecture leader to blend strategic direction with hands-on engagement across major programmes. You will align proposals with enterprise strategy, architecture guardrails and company standards, while guiding project teams and external suppliers.

The role requires deep experience across enterprise and solution architecture, with strong stakeholder management and the ability to move between high-level strategy and detailed delivery decisions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in senior Enterprise Architecture positions.
• Experience in Solution Architecture roles.
• Experience across strategic architecture and project-level solution delivery.
• Ability to identify architecture risks, dependencies and strategic misalignment.
• Strong senior stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mature enterprise architecture strategies, roadmaps and capability models.
• Review architectural collateral and address gaps.
• Translate priorities into practical architecture direction for programmes.
• Assure designs align with guardrails and target-state architecture.
• Provide architectural input across multiple systems and domains.
• Collaborate with project teams and external suppliers.
• Document architecture decisions, risks and recommendations.
• Present complex technical information to diverse audiences.
