Job Description:

In the role of Principal Technology Architect, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design. You will play an important role in creating architecture and high-level design artifacts, conducting technical feasibility analyses, and identifying efficient solutions to meet client requirements. You will guide the technical team and work closely with offshore teams, acting as a communication bridge between the client and offshore teams. This role fosters a learning culture emphasizing teamwork, collaboration, excellence, and diversity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Own and lead hybrid cloud solutions, formulating and driving end-to-end enterprise cloud transformation lifecycle stages: Analyze, Define, Build, Migration strategy, and Operations.
  • Build and maintain deep technical relationships with senior IT executives in large or strategic accounts.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships to reach consensus on solutions and projects.
  • Evaluate demand against constraints and identify risks to ensure delivery of critical priorities.
  • Consult with senior leadership on strategic direction and requirements to inform recommendations and planning.
  • Define cloud migration and modernization strategies, including migration patterns, legacy infrastructure modernization with containers and Kubernetes, data and database modernization, and integration platforms.
  • Respond effectively to rapidly changing, complex technical environments.
  • Define service classes and set up infrastructure to meet SLA, RPO, RTO, and failover requirements.
  • Collaborate with partners and practice teams to summarize solutions and bill of materials.
  • Understand commercial aspects of solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) across private, public, and edge cloud environments.
  • Develop proposals, including business benefits and statements, and Statements of Work (SoWs).
  • Provide industry best practice advice and solutions across accounts.
  • Oversee architectural aspects of ongoing projects and lead during major incidents or outages.
  • Create guiding principles and success criteria for platform capabilities.
  • Act as escalation point for hybrid cloud risks and mitigation strategies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • TOGAF Certified Enterprise Architect (desired)
  • Certifications in Cloud and Data Center Technologies
