Your role

As a key member of a Cloud Pod, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to both project delivery and foundational initiatives. You’ll collaborate with other Enterprise Architects and technical teams to:

• Act as thetechnical authorityfor cloud architecture and infrastructure governance.
• Contribute to the design, review, and evolution of cloud-native and hybrid solutions.
• Work closely with platform engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure architectural alignment.
• Stay hands-on with infrastructure as code (IaC), deployments, and environment configuration.
• Support and mentor junior engineers and engage with stakeholders across the business.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, including clients and technical teams.

Your skills and experience

We’re looking for people who are passionate about technology and enjoy working in a collaborative environment. Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience in Enterprise Architecture, particularly with AWS-based solutions.
• A strong background in automation and delivery through code.
• Familiarity with managed services and post-implementation support.
• Hands-on experience with tools and technologies such as AWS, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and GitHub.
• An understanding of ITIL frameworks and experience with end-to-end delivery.
• A background in infrastructure and networking is a plus, as is experience working in Agile teams.

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
