Job summary

Great Western Hospital NHS Foundation Trust wishes to appoint an enthusiastic individual to the above post. This is a fixed-term Speciality Doctor post for service commitments and will include opportunities for further training.

The principle role of the post holder is to be an active member of the team. The post holder is expected to undertake clinics, contribute to day-to-day clinical matters, and take a teamwork approach to relationships with other departments, clinic and theatre staff.

Qualifications

• The candidate will be expected to undertake clinics and contribute to day-to-day clinical matters.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinics and acute ward cover will be part of the duties.
• Some regular theatre sessions are anticipated.
• Participation in the out of hours on-call rota with a 1 in 7 frequency.
• The post holder will organise workload and manage an appointment system in line with the Trust's policies.
