Ashdale Care Home in Pembroke is seeking an Activities, Support & Enrichment Assistant to design and deliver engaging activity programmes for residents. The role focuses on wellbeing, independence, confidence, and connection through meaningful opportunities, with collaboration across services.

The ideal candidate is creative, motivated, and compassionate, with strong communication and organisational skills, and a full UK driving licence. Training, progression, and flexible shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Be creative, motivated and compassionate.
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to drive as part of the role.
• No experience required.

Responsabilités

• Plan, prepare and deliver varied activities in home and community settings, tailored to residents' interests and needs.
• Provide person-centred support during activities, outings and events.
• Build links with local groups, volunteers and relatives, gathering resident feedback.
• Work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends, following safeguarding and record-keeping requirements.
