The Directors and Governors are seeking to appoint an excellent, caring, committed, and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our school.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to work in partnership with teachers and other professionals, providing effective support for learning and contributing to pupil progress through delivery and evaluation of activities.
Candidates should have experience working in a primary school with children of varying abilities. The successful candidate will work with individual children and/or small groups across the primary phase, delivering planned intervention programmes and learning support. Additionally, the post holder will assist teaching staff with observations, record keeping, and reports for other agencies. Regular classroom cover for PPA time will also be part of the role.
Teaching Assistants contribute to our wraparound care provision, Scamps, which operates between 7.30 am and 6.00 pm during term time and in half-term school holidays.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
