We are currently seeking a highly motivated Enhanced Staff Nurse (RNID) to join our team at Teach Saoirse, Children’s Residential House, Nenagh, Co Tipperary.

Contract Type: Full & Part Time Permanent Posts Available

Salary Scale: €40,212 to €53,009 pro rata per annum. Salaries are subject to Long Service Increments (LSI).

Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 days pro rata per annum

Overview of the Post:

To provide residential respite to families of children and young adults with disabilities in North Tipperary. The service will be coordinated by the RRM/Service Coordinator, who will prioritize families for involvement and agree on the type and level of support. The Nurse will work closely with the Coordinator and may be required to work evenings and weekends to provide flexible support.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Have a valid nursing RNID qualification recognized in Ireland.
  • Be registered with the Intellectual Disability Nurse Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).

AND

  • Confirm annual registration with NMBI with Enable Ireland.
  • Maintain registration with NMBI throughout employment and provide evidence annually.
  • Have the clinical and administrative capacity to perform the role effectively.
  • Hold a full clean driver’s license and be willing to drive service transport.
  • Possess basic IT skills.
  • ‘D1’ license is an advantage or be willing to obtain a ‘D’ or ‘D1’ license.
  • Experience working with adults or children with disabilities is desirable.
  • Experience in residential/respite settings is advantageous.
