Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated English Teacher for a secondary school in Ealing, London. The role focuses on Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with a strong emphasis on delivering exciting, engaging lessons within a supportive English department.

The position is open to both NQTs and experienced teachers. It is a full-time, permanent role starting 04/01/2027, with a contract length until the end of the academic year and ongoing, indefinite end date.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent qualification required.
• Minimum 1 year UK teaching experience.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons to KS3 and KS4.
• Contribute to the English department and school-wide initiatives.
• Attend parents' evenings and other school events as required.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
