Job summary

Prospero Teaching is working with a secondary school in Woking looking to appoint an English Teacher to join them from 1 November 2026 through to Easter. The position is a temporary full-time role with pay on a scale dependent on experience.

The successful candidate will hold QTS and have experience teaching English at secondary level, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons and maintain strong classroom management to support students of all abilities.

• Start Date: 1 November 2026
• Contract Type: Temporary - until Easter
• Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (school hours may vary)
• Pay: Pay to Scale (dependent on experience)
• Schedule: Full-time

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English at secondary level
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
• Good classroom and behaviour management skills
