As a Cover Supervisor / Unqualified Supply Teacher, you'll supervise lessons when teachers are absent, ensuring pupils remain engaged with the work that's been set. You're not expected to teach new content. Instead, you'll use your training, communication skills, confidence and professionalism to create a calm and productive learning environment.
Although your background is in English, you'll cover a range of different subjects throughout the school day (mainly English). This is completely normal, as the role focuses on classroom management rather than subject expertise. You'll:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
