About the Role:

As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with a wide range of learning needs.

You will collaborate with a team of specialists to provide individualized support, helping each student achieve their full potential in an inclusive, nurturing classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver stimulating and differentiated English lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with special educational needs (SEN).
2. Develop, implement, and regularly review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to monitor and support student progress.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages self-expression and builds student confidence.
4. Support the development of students’ literacy, communication, and critical thinking skills.
5. Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
6. Collaborate with Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and other professionals to deliver holistic support.
7. Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive and effective support for all students.

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a genuine passion for teaching English.
2. Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
3. A strong understanding of SEN strategies and the ability to adapt lessons to cater to diverse learning needs.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
