TeacherActive is working with a SEND school in Stoke-on-Trent, supporting students aged 11-19 with SEMH/EBD. We are seeking an English Teacher with QTS to cover KS3 to KS5, including GCSE preparation, on a long-term basis. The role offers a nurturing environment with strong leadership and opportunities for development.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of consultants, benefit from CPD courses, certificates, and market-leading pay rates with a referral scheme.

Qualifications

• QTS with English specialism.
• Experience teaching English up to KS4/KS5.
• Excellent classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Teach English across KS3/KS4 (and KS5 if required).
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations.
• Follow schemes of learning and support SEMH/EBD students.
