Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group is seeking a passionate Teacher of English to join a mainstream secondary school in the London Borough of Brent. The role is long-term and starts in January, with responsibilities across KS3 and KS4 and opportunities to contribute to a broad English curriculum.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, monitor progress, and provide feedback while supporting students' reading, writing and comprehension. QTS and secondary experience are desirable for this position.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent certification preferred.
• Previous secondary school English teaching experience desirable.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for English.
• Ability to plan and deliver KS3/KS4 lessons.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback and adapt teaching.
• Collaborate with the English department to ensure a rich curriculum.
• Support GCSE exam preparation where applicable.
