Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group is seeking a passionate Teacher of English to join a mainstream secondary school in the London Borough of Brent. The role is long-term and starts in January, with responsibilities across KS3 and KS4 and opportunities to contribute to a broad English curriculum.

The Role - Teacher of English

A welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in the London Borough of Brent is seeking to appoint a dedicated Teacher of English to join its teaching team on a long-term basis starting in January.

As the successful Teacher of English, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will inspire students to develop their reading, writing, communication and analytical skills while helping them achieve their academic potential.

You will work closely with the English department and wider teaching team to deliver a broad and engaging curriculum. You will be expected to monitor student progress, provide effective feedback and adapt your teaching to meet the needs of students with different abilities and learning needs.

Previous experience teaching English within a secondary school is desirable, along with strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English. Experience preparing students for GCSE examinations would be advantageous.
