Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking passionate English Teachers to support secondary schools across Liverpool, the Wirral and Merseyside. Flexible day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply roles with potential for permanent placement.

You’ll deliver English language and literature lessons to KS3/KS4, help pupils with reading and exam preparation, and adapt to different school environments. QTS or equivalent is required; ECTs welcome.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English Language and English Literature across KS3 and KS4.
• Confident delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons.
• Able to support pupils with reading, writing, literacy and exam preparation.
• Quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Adaptable, reliable and professional.
• ECTs and experienced English Teachers are warmly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver English lessons across KS3 and KS4 in various Merseyside schools.
• Adapt to different schools and timetables with flexibility.

English Teacher - Liverpool & Merseyside

Location: Liverpool & Merseyside

Pay: £150-£230 per day

Contract: Day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply, with potential to become permanent
