Job Opportunity: English Teacher in Wakefield

Do you have experience teaching English across the KS3/4 curriculum? We are seeking an organised and friendly English Teacher to join one of our partnership Secondary Schools based in Wakefield from September 2025. The full-time role is expected to become permanent for the right applicant.

The Secondary School is part of the Castleford Academy Trust, catering for students aged 11-19 years. You will collaborate with the existing staff team to deliver a rich and challenging English curriculum that encourages creativity, imagination, and enjoyment in learning.

We welcome both ECTs and experienced teachers, offering competitive pay rates up to £230 depending on experience.

We are seeking a Teacher with:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
• Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
• An enhanced DBS disclosure or willingness to obtain one
• Right to Work in the UK (Visa Sponsorship not available)
