English Teacher

Ready for a fresh challenge this November? We're looking for a confident and engaging English Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Middlesbrough on a long-term supply basis, covering a planned period of absence.

Role details:

Start: November 2026
Location: Middlesbrough
Pay: £160-£250 per day, dependent on experience
Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week
Contract: Long-term supplyThe role

You'll be joining a large, well-established 11-16 secondary school with a strong focus on high expectations, positive relationships and helping pupils achieve their potential.

You'll be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4, maintaining continuity of learning throughout the absence and becoming a consistent part of the department.

We'd love to hear from experienced English Teachers as well as ECTs looking to build further classroom experience.
