Teach Now is recruiting an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a thriving English department at a secondary school in St Albans.

You will plan and deliver engaging English lessons, develop pupils reading, writing, analytical and communication skills, and provide feedback to help pupils reach their potential. The role offers a choice of full-time or 0.8 FTE, with DBS clearance and ongoing professional development.

Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire

Salary: £35,602–£54,328 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications; pro rata for part-time

Contract: Temporary, full-time or part-time (0.8 FTE)

Start date: January 2027

Teach Now is recruiting an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a thriving English department at an ambitious secondary school in St Albans.
