Are you a dedicated English Teacher ready to inspire students in a vibrant independent school in Sheffield? We have an exciting opportunity for an immediate start, running until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extending into September.

Position: English Teacher Location: Sheffield Contract: Temporary with potential for ongoing work in September Pay: 150 - 200 per day, based on experience and qualifications

Your Role as an English Teacher:

• Deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 students, fostering a love for literature and language.
• Establish a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere to encourage academic and personal growth.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and implementation - experience in curriculum oversight is advantageous but not essential.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to address diverse learning needs.
• Work collaboratively with staff to maintain a nurturing and supportive educational environment.
• Engage in regular education and training to refine your teaching skills and strategies.

What We're Seeking:

• Qualified English Teacher with QTS or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience in delivering English lessons to KS3 students.
• Strong communication skills and classroom management expertise.
• Passion for inspiring literacy and a lifelong love of learning.
• Valid Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply - we can assist.
