A forward-thinking secondary school in Hyde is looking to appoint a dynamic and committed English Teacher from September 2025, with the opportunity to take on additional responsibility through a TLR (Teaching and Learning Responsibility). This is a permanent, full-time role and would suit an experienced practitioner or a strong early career teacher ready to grow into a leadership post.
As part of a supportive and high-achieving English department, you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping to raise attainment and inspire a love of language and literature. The school is particularly interested in candidates with the drive to contribute to curriculum development, literacy strategy, or departmental leadership.
