Career Teachers are currently recruiting qualified QTS / QTLS English Teachers to start June 2025.

We are looking to appoint passionate and qualified English Teachers who are ideally seeking long-term work and available to start in June 2025 or sooner, to meet the high demand from our schools.

We work with a wide variety of Secondary Schools across Birmingham and the surrounding areas, offering flexible working options to accommodate your commitments with part-time and full-time hours, as well as short-term and long-term assignments, some of which may lead to permanent contracts.

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in English or a related field.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience teaching English at KS3-4; experience with A level is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Passionate and dedicated to teaching and learning.
• Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training; Career Teachers offer FREE online safeguarding training.
• Provide a full 10-year career history and references covering the last 2 years, including current and previous employers.
