About the English Teacher Role:

As an English Teacher at this school, you will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. Your responsibilities include delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a love of literature, language, and creative writing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that engage and challenge students.
2. Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners.
3. Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
4. Support students in developing their literacy skills across the curriculum.
5. Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives.
