Link3 Recruitment Ltd is seeking reliable Cover Supervisors with a strong English background to support secondary schools across the Coventry area. You will supervise lessons, deliver pre-set English tasks, and maintain a positive learning environment during teacher absences.

A degree in English or equivalent, understanding across key stages up to GCSE and A-Levels, and prior experience with young people are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in English or related subject.
• Understanding of key stages up to GCSE and A/Levels.
• Experience working with young people in education, youth work, or tutoring.
• Confident classroom presence and ability to manage behaviour effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lessons across the curriculum in the absence of the class teacher.
• Maintain a strong classroom presence to support a focused learning environment.
• Deliver pre-set English lessons with high behavioural standards.
• Support students with tasks and contribute to a positive atmosphere.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and engagement.
• Promote literacy and a love for English through enthusiastic lesson delivery.
