Academics Agency in Retford is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to work across supportive secondary schools in Retford and South Yorkshire.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support students including those with SEN, and help develop critical thinking and a love of learning. This PAYE-only role offers flexible hours and full support from a dedicated consultant, with a competitive daily rate of £140–£225 depending on experience.

• QTS is essential to teach English at secondary level.
• Experience with SEN or diverse learning needs is desirable.
• DBS Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) is required.

• Support Every Student: Work closely with Teaching Assistants and SENCOs to adapt lessons, ensuring students with SEN or additional needs can access the curriculum and thrive.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential, with a passion for teaching English at secondary level.
• Experience or a strong interest in working with students with SEN or diverse learning needs is highly desirable.
• A creative, adaptable, and resilient approach to teaching.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) and a commitment to safeguarding.
• Right to work in the UK and two positive references from recent teaching roles.
