Job summary

Aspire People is seeking an experienced English Lecturer to deliver GCSE and A-Level English in South Wales. The role involves planning, delivering high-quality lessons across learner abilities, and supporting learners through examinations and assessments.

You will develop literacy and analytical skills, assess progress with constructive feedback, monitor attendance, and support SEN/ALN learners. Opportunities across FE colleges with flexible hours and CPD are available.

Qualifications

• Degree or Level 3+ qualification in English or related subject.
• Strong knowledge across GCSE and A-Level English.
• Experience teaching or supporting learners at GCSE and/or A-Level.
• Understanding of examination requirements and assessment.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Teaching qualification desirable.
• FE experience desirable but not essential.
• Experience supporting learners with SEN/ALN is beneficial.
