Job summary

Hertford Regional College is seeking an English Lecturer to deliver engaging English lessons and support student success at our Ware & Broxbourne Campus, Monday to Friday.

You will lead on course planning, assessment, and collaboration with academic teams to ensure courses run smoothly. A passion for teaching and developing positive learning experiences is essential.

Qualifications

• Initial Teacher Training qualification (PTTLS/DTLLS) or willingness to work towards one.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
• Proven teaching experience in GCSE English Language in FE or HE environment.
• Proven teaching experience in Functional Skills E1-L1.
• The ability to inspire, engage and support young people.
• A real passion for creating positive learning experiences.

Salary - £35,000 - £43,800 per annum plus market supplement of up to £5000 per annum
