This is a fantastic opportunity to gain paid classroom experience before moving into teacher training or further education roles.
Position: English Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: WN6, Wigan
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, term time only
Salary: £89.38 – £100 per day
Support pupils in English lessons and interventions – both 1:1 and in small groups
Assist with literacy development, reading comprehension and exam preparation
Contribute to creative learning strategies and help raise attainment
Gain experience alongside experienced English teachers in a high-performing department
Degree in English, English Literature, Creative Writing, or similar
Passionate about literature, language, and supporting student learning
Confident communicator and team player
Looking to pursue a career in teaching or education
