Job Title: ESOL Tutor

Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire-based Further Education provider

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Salary: £22 per hour + statutory holiday pay

Job Description

• Deliver English For Work lessons to Speakers of Other Languages
• Develop lesson plans and teaching materials
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Support students in improving their English language skills
• Monitor attendance and participation in classes

Required Qualifications

• CELTA or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience in teaching English to speakers of other languages
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching ESOL

Knowledge and Skills

• Understanding of language acquisition principles
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in TESOL or Applied Linguistics
• Experience working with diverse student populations
