English Academic Coach – Secondary School, Manchester

The Role
As an English Academic Coach, you’ll work alongside the English department to deliver targeted interventions and support classroom learning. Your main responsibilities will include leading small group literacy sessions, offering 1-2-1 support, and helping pupils to build confidence and improve attainment.

The Candidate
This role is perfect for a recent English graduate with a passion for education and a desire to pursue a teaching career. Strong communication skills, subject knowledge, and the ability to engage and motivate students are essential. Previous experienceworking or volunteering with young people is desirable.
