Job summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd are recruiting for an Engineering Labourer/Driver/FLT for their client in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The role involves driving deliveries within Yorkshire, operating a forklift, painting tasks and assisting with general shop duties under the Team Leader.

The ideal candidate will have a valid FLT licence, a UK driving licence with up to 3 points and be over 25 for insurance, and be prepared to maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping on site.

ENGINEERING LABOURER / DRIVER / FLT

We are recruiting for Workshop Labourer to work for our client who are in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

WORKSHOP LABOURER

• Carry out driving activities , delivering orders to customers within the Yorkshire region


• FLT - you will be required to move pallets and load/unload deliveries


• Carry out Painting tasks


• Assist with the general running of the shop reporting to the Team leader.


• Improve and maintain housekeeping.


• Assist with product movement and document control around the workplace.


• Report any problem areas affecting health and safety, quality and production.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS

• You must have experience using a FLT


• Have a full UK driving licence with no more than 3points AND be over 25 for insurance purposes


• Help to maintain the safe and efficient running of machines, equipment and the workplace.

THE HOURS

You will be required to work on a day shift Monday - Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am- 1pm

THE PAY

You will earn an hourly rate of £14 depending on experience.
