You will work closely with engineers and specialists to create high-quality documentation that underpins regulatory compliance, training, and technical knowledge transfer.

You will play a vital role in supporting the design, build, delivery, and operation of our in-house industrial automation machines, ensuring that every machine is delivered with the correct technical documentation, compliance records, and supporting guides.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Regulatory Compliance Documentation
  • Develop, maintain, and control documentation required for CE/UKCA marking and related standards.
  • Ensure compliance of our in-house industrial automation machines with The Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations and relevant directives.
  • Support the definition of machine specifications and ensure compliance assessments are fully documented.
  • Knowledge Capture & Transfer
  • Create and maintain internal wiki content, design guides, SOPs, and standards to support consistency across engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate technical knowledge into clear, structured, and accessible documentation.
  • Training & Assessments
  • Design training content, user guides, and assessments to support engineers, operators, and new starters.
  • Produce engaging process-specific guides, including CAD-based illustrations, animations, and visual aids.
  • Technical Communication & Visualisation
  • Work with CAD data to generate illustrations, schematics, and animations for manuals, guides, and compliance documentation.
  • Develop documentation for complex systems, machinery, and processes to ensure clarity and accuracy.
What we’re looking for:
  • Proven experience in technical writing, technical communication, or technical authoring, ideally in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g. CE/UKCA marking, The Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations, or ISO standards).
  • Strong skills in technical illustration, CAD visualisation, and content structuring.

What you’ll gain:

You’ll be embedded in a world-class engineering environment, surrounded by some of the brightest minds in Formula 1. Your work will ensure that our in-house industrial automation machines and manufacturing processes are not only at the cutting edge of performance, but also fully compliant, well-documented, and understood across the organisation.
