Job summary

South Western Railway is seeking a capable team member to assist in producing engineering timetables, check late possession requests from Network Rail, and provide support within the Train Planning team.

You will apply knowledge of timings, possessions, and SWR geography to help optimize resources and customer service. The role is 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with office hours, and offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of timetables and engineering possessions and their impact on the Train Plan.
• Good knowledge of South Western Railway geography.
• Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the production of South Western Railway Engineering Timetables and check late engineering requests from Network Rail.
• Produce PIS codes.
• Act as a positive role model at all times in all matters relating to Health and Safety.
• Take care of your own health and safety and that of others and follow company procedures.
