Job summary

H9 Talent Solutions is recruiting an Engineering Test Technician for a global manufacturer of industrial and hazardous-area products, based in Bredbury, Stockport. The role involves hands-on product testing to support new designs, verify performance and help engineers identify improvements.

You will contribute to developing the capabilities of the testing laboratory and work with design, quality and manufacturing teams to investigate failures and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, product testing or a technical laboratory environment.
• Practical experience using test equipment and following technical documentation.
• Methodical approach to recording results and investigating issues.
• Good communication and IT skills with report preparation.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

Joining the Design Engineering team, you'll carry out hands-on product testing that supports new designs, verifies performance and helps engineers identify improvements. You'll also contribute to developing the capabilities of the testing laboratory.
