GSK's Ware Site in the United Kingdom is recruiting Engineering Technicians to join the engineering team and provide specialist expertise to support production activities and site operations.
You will perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, calibration and instrumentation domains, support commissioning of new equipment, and work with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality and reliability in a regulated environment.
GSK's Ware Site is a key manufacturing center for GSK, manufacturing medicines and supply globally.
We are looking for numerous qualified Engineering Technicians to join the Ware site's engineering team to provide engineering expertise to support production activities and site operations (by performing a variety of tasks relating to manufacture of GSK's products).
Engineering Technicians work in a team to support the highly skilled, diverse teams across production, quality, and technical functions at the site. Engineering Technicians conduct a wide range of engineering maintenance, calibrations, physical interventions and repair activities across specialist manufacturing, packing, and building services equipment.
The shift patterns can be discussed prior to & during interview stage and preferences will be considered.
Relevant engineering qualifications and / or experience is required (eg; HND / HNC, Engineering Apprenticeship). A good standard of numeracy and literacy is essential.
You will need to provide your Engineering Certificates as part of the recruitment process.
You will be a willing learner and a good communicator who takes personal accountability, ownership, and action to do the right thing. Good verbal, written and computer communication skills are needed, and you must be able to work within a team and follow standard processes. You must be able to work within a disciplined and regulated environment, as everything we do has a patient at the end of the supply chain.
