Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform planned maintenance inspections on mechanical equipment throughout the packaging facility.
- Repair and install a wide range of mechanical equipment using precision maintenance techniques.
- Inspect equipment and participate in equipment health discussions.
- Respond to breakdowns and repairs to support production.
- Use the CMMS system to raise and update work orders.
- Participate in creating risk assessments and method statements for maintenance tasks.
- Understand maintenance metrics.
- Support organizational initiatives.
- Mentor and coach colleagues and apprentices where needed.
Skills & Abilities:
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, including email.
- Experience with Microsoft Office packages.
- Knowledge of CMMS is preferable.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
