Job summary

Expleo Derby is seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to guide the engineering team on a Marine Defence project. You will report to the Business Manager and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality results through a motivated workforce.

The role demands strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on continuous improvement within a regulated environment. Based at Derby offices with responsibilities spanning planning, governance, and customer liaison.

Qualifications

• HND/Degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and adherence to standardised procedures.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to meet business demand.
• Excellent English communication with customers, management and team.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering team to meet SoW in terms of time, cost and quality.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements and QMS.
• Coordinate with technical functions to satisfy project needs.
• Manage resource capabilities and skill allocation for the project.
• Support PMs in planning, progress tracking and risk assessment.
• Develop team members and drive cost-saving initiatives.
