Job summary

Recruitment Co. in Linton, Cambridgeshire, is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to manage a team of maintenance engineers in a busy food manufacturing environment.

You will stay hands-on, lead electrical and mechanical maintenance, drive planned and reactive activities and improve equipment reliability. This permanent role offers rotating shifts (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm), weekends limited, and clear opportunities for progression within a large site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a maintenance engineering team in manufacturing.
• Electrical and mechanical engineering qualifications.
• Strong multi-skilled maintenance and fault-finding experience.
• Experience with PLC-controlled machinery and automated equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems.
• Experience using CMMS or maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Leading, supervising and supporting a team of maintenance engineers.
• Coordinating planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Responding to engineering breakdowns and fault diagnosis.
• Carrying out electrical and mechanical fault finding on manufacturing machinery.
• Maintaining site utilities and site services.
