Job summary

Catering in Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire, is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to head a small engineering crew while staying hands-on with maintenance, fault finding and continuous improvement on filling, blending and packaging equipment.

The role offers a stable days-based shift pattern (Mon-Thu 8am-4:30pm, Fri finish 2pm) with no weekends, salary up to £50,000 DOE, and a clear path to develop reliability and site improvements within a growing manufacturing operation.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance background in manufacturing.
• 18th Edition (or willingness to update).
• Fault-finding experience.
• Some leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a small team of one mechanically biased and one newly qualified engineer.
• Manage and develop the Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) programme.
• Prioritise maintenance activities and coordinate engineering resources.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment performance.
• Support production teams with engineering solutions.
• Maintain compliance, documentation and safety standards.
• Assist with contractor management and site improvement projects.
