Job summary

Hunter Selection is recruiting for an Engineering Team Leader in Bristol to head a team of up to five engineers, ensuring reliability and continuous improvement across the site.

You will drive maintenance activities, respond quickly to breakdowns, and lead root-cause analysis while upholding safety standards and compliance. A strong leadership track record in FMCG manufacturing is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Engineering qualification (Level 2 or above).
• Experience leading, mentoring or supervising engineers.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Positive, proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
• FMCG/fast-paced manufacturing experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of up to 5 engineers.
• Coordinate and oversee planned preventative maintenance activities.
• Support rapid response to breakdowns and minimise downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities.
• Ensure engineering standards, safety and compliance are maintained.
• Collaborate with Maintenance & Engineering Manager to improve site performance.
