Job summary

Hunter Selection is recruiting an Engineering Team Leader for a Bristol-based manufacturing site. You will lead a team of up to five engineers on shift, ensuring equipment reliability, driving CI, and maintaining safety and engineering standards.

The role features a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days & Nights), a strong benefits package, and clear progression opportunities within a well-established manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership, mentoring or supervisory experience.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of up to 5 engineers.
• Coordinate and oversee planned preventive maintenance activities.
• Support rapid response to breakdowns and minimise downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities.
• Ensure engineering standards, safety and compliance are maintained.
• Collaborate with Maintenance & Engineering Manager to improve site performance.
