Our client is currently recruiting for an Engineering Surveyor to join their existing team following a period of growth. The successful Engineering Surveyor will visit customer sites around the UK, carrying out examinations on pressure systems.

Location: Candidates living in or close to Northallerton, Nottingham, Peterborough, and Cambridge are encouraged to apply.

Note: As the role involves overnight stays, the candidate will need to be flexible with staying away from home.

Engineering Surveyor Responsibilities:

• Carry out surveys of pressure systems.
• Produce written reports on findings, including advice given to clients, and report any mandatory or recommended requirements.
• Conduct statutory examinations.
• Provide technical advice and recommendations on ways to improve safety of pressure systems.
• Support trainee or junior engineers.

Applicant Requirements:

• Hold an NVQ Level 3 – Mechanical bias.
• Strong mechanical engineering background and knowledge of pressure systems.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong customer-facing skills and ability to build relationships with clients.
• Flexible regarding travel, including overnight stays and working independently.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
