Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking an Engineering Support Operative to support the Sainsburys Distribution Centre, performing routine maintenance to maximise equipment availability and compliance with health and safety standards.

You will conduct checks, adjust and lubricate equipment, identify root causes and apply permanent solutions, while assisting with planned maintenance and jam busting procedures. A proactive team player is expected and night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• You have a proactive approach to fault finding.
• You act like a team player.
• Willing to work shifts including nights.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Operational checks, functionality checks, cleaning, adjustment, lubrication and monitoring; identify root causes and implement permanent solutions.
• Assist with planned preventative maintenance, corrective and reactive maintenance as needed.
• Proficient with jam busting procedures and ensure operational procedures are followed.
• Record all work carried out to ensure utilisation.
