Job summary

Arbor Forest Products in New Holland, North Lincolnshire, seeks an Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of maintenance engineers on rotating shifts. You will coordinate maintenance activities, provide hands-on electrical and mechanical support, and work with Production Managers to minimise downtime.

The successful candidate will bring supervisory experience, strong technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement within two fast-paced production environments.

Qualifications

• Experience of supervising maintenance teams in a manufacturing or engineering setting.
• Strong electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge and hands-on ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of maintenance engineers.
• Coordinate fault diagnosis, rectification and planned maintenance.
• Provide hands-on electrical and mechanical support as required.
• Manage PPM activities and downtime to minimise production impact.
• Work with Production Managers to plan maintenance and safety.
• Ensure maintenance work follows safety standards and timescales.
• Record activities using CMMS and monitor spare-parts inventory.
• Drive improvements in standards, reliability and team culture.
