Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Engineering Supervisor - HVAP to lead a dedicated FM maintenance team in a fast-paced, client-focused environment in London. The role covers delivery of planned and reactive maintenance, BMS monitoring, and safety/compliance across regions.

You will supervise a small team, manage PPMs and problem-solve complex faults while liaising with the helpdesk and clients. Training will be provided for HVAP tickets as needed.

Qualifikationen

• HVAP ticket (current or expired) – training provided.
• Experience supervising a team in a commercial setting.
• Experience carrying out PPMs in line with SFG20 or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of statutory & mandatory compliance maintenance.
• Excellent client-facing skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide first line management and leadership to contract team; set objectives and conduct performance reviews.
• Be the key point of contact for BMS monitoring, alarm action and escalation for London/EMEA offices.
• Lead a 2-person team to ensure service delivery, monitor performance and escalate as needed.
• Monitor completion of PPM and reactive work via WIP reporting and helpdesk liaison.
• Ensure compliance with statutory controls across technical areas; maintain records and certification.
• Conduct toolbox talks with engineers and review safety procedures (SHEQ).
• Prepare quotes for small works and manage subcontractor quotations.
• Assist in producing monthly operations reports and develop understanding of buildings portfolios.

Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Engineering Supervisor - HVAP to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for an Engineering Supervisor - HVAP who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the Engineering Supervisor - HVAP, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Engineering Supervisor - HVAP, will be responsible for:

• Provide first line management and leadership to contract dedicated team, setting team objectives and individual performance management reviews
• You will be the key point of contact and provide BMS monitoring \ action \ escalation of alarms for the London and EMEA region offices
• Lead the team of 2 in provision of excellent service delivery by monitoring service performance, taking corrective action when necessary and escalating as appropriate.
• Monitor completion of PPM and reactive work through concept, analysis of Work in Progress (WIP) reporting and liaison with the helpdesk.
• Ensure compliance with statutory controls across all technical areas of expertise
• Carry out tool box talks with Engineers in team as prescribed by the SHEQ department.
• Carry out sub contractor quotations and produce quotes for any small works required on site.
• Assist in the production of monthly operations report
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the portfolio buildings their layouts, functions and complexities through developed practices through scenario drills, continuous assessments, staff training and personal development
• Assist the Technical Manager by advising of any PPM’s that are outstanding and will affect the performance of the Building or Client Reports, to ensure zero failure.

To be successful for this Engineering Supervisor - HVAP role you must have:

• HVAP ticket - current or expired - training will be provided.
• Experience working as a supervisor probably as Multi-Skilled Technician, experienced in a commercial setting carrying out PPMs in line with SFG20 or equivalent with advanced fault-finding diagnostic experience.
• Capable of Supervising Reactive Repairs and Small Projects.
• Experienced in Statutory & Mandatory Compliance Maintenance Records / Certification and uploading onto Service Systems.
• Completed a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship (Preferred not Essential)
• City & Guilds Electrical discipline competency Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.
• 17th / 18th Edition IEE Regulations
• Worked on various manufacturers systems, skilled in a Mechanical &/or Electrical Discipline carrying out PPMs in line with SFG20 or equivalent, with advanced fault-finding diagnostic experience.
• Safe systems of Work Procedure - PTW, RAMS, etc.
• Excellent client facing skills.
