Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Engineering Supervisor (Electrical Bias) to lead a team of eight maintenance engineers at a busy recycling facility in Nottinghamshire. You will drive planned and reactive maintenance, push continuous improvements, and maximise plant uptime on a 4-on-4-off day shift.

You will provide hands-on electrical fault finding, supervise contractors, and collaborate with operations to optimise production while maintaining strict health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering or related field qualification required.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in engineering/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance engineers.
• Coordinate planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns.
• Ensure maximum plant availability and equipment reliability.
• Hands-on electrical fault finding and technical support.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce downtime.
• Ensure compliance with site Health & Safety procedures.
• Monitor engineering KPIs and maintenance performance.
• Manage contractors and service providers on site.
• Support project work, installations and equipment upgrades.
• Collaborate with operations to optimise production.
• Conduct team meetings, appraisals and training.
• Maintain maintenance records in CMMS.
