Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Engineering Stores Manager for a site near Horley, Surrey. The role covers managing the engineering stores, stock control, goods-in and issuing parts, while also supervising a small production team of roughly 6–10 people.

You will ensure materials and components are available to support production timelines, maintain accurate inventory records, and uphold health and safety standards across stores and production areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering stores or manufacturing stores.
• Experience supervising a small team.
• Strong organisational and hands-on skills.
• Experience using ERP/MRP or stock-control systems.
• Good communication with production, purchasing and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day running of the engineering stores, including stock control, goods-in, issuing parts and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Ensure materials are available to support production requirements and help prevent shortages or delays.
• Supervise and support a production team of approximately 6–10 employees, including workload allocation, attendance and general day‑to‑day management.
• Maintain high standards of organisation, health and safety, accuracy and efficiency across the stores and production areas.
